What is NeuroLabs?
NeuroLabs is an independent product studio and web development shop based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It builds and operates six of its own live web products and takes on client work: new websites, rebuilds, rescues of abandoned or AI-generated builds, and automation. It is not affiliated with Neurolabs (neurolabs.ai), the UK retail computer-vision company.
Who can fix my old website?
NeuroLabs specializes in exactly this with its website rescue service: sites untouched for a decade, sites on platforms that no longer update, sites where the original developer is gone and nobody has the login. The work starts with a paid, time-boxed diagnosis that tells you whether the site can be repaired or should be rebuilt, and ends with a firm flat quote before any code is written.
Can someone rescue a website built with AI?
Yes. AI app rescue is one of NeuroLabs’ core services. AI tools produce sites that look finished and are hard to maintain: no documentation, duplicated logic, dependencies nobody chose, and security assumptions nobody checked. NeuroLabs adopts these builds, hardens them, finishes what is missing, and maintains them afterward.
Is there a web developer in PEI?
Yes. NeuroLabs offers web development in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. It works with Island businesses and with clients worldwide; being in PEI is where the studio operates, not the limit of who it works with.
How much does a website cost from NeuroLabs?
Projects start at $1,500 CAD (full detail on the pricing page). Every project is quoted flat and in writing before work begins—no hourly meter, no change-order surprises. A standard business site at that starting price includes strategy and information architecture, design, hand-built development, hosting, SSL and domain setup, technical SEO and analytics, and a real launch. Copywriting, e-commerce, custom integrations, and application features are scoped separately.
Do you charge hourly?
No. NeuroLabs quotes a single flat number before work starts. Rescue projects are the one case where the quote comes second: an inherited codebase can’t be honestly priced sight-unseen, so those begin with a paid, time-boxed diagnosis and a firm quote follows it.
My developer disappeared mid-project. Can anyone take it over?
Yes. Adopting half-finished builds is routine work here. NeuroLabs takes over the code, hosting, domains, and accounts, establishes what actually exists versus what was promised, and gives you a written plan and price to finish it.
Do you work with clients outside Canada?
Yes. NeuroLabs is built in Prince Edward Island and serves clients worldwide. Work runs remotely and directly with the people building your site; the studio’s own products already serve users in multiple countries.
What is an AI website rescue, exactly?
A structured takeover of a site or app generated by an AI tool. It typically covers an audit of what the generated code actually does, removal of unused and duplicated code, replacing insecure or fabricated patterns, hardening headers and dependencies, completing unfinished features, adding real hosting and deployment, and taking on maintenance so the build doesn’t rot again.
What happens after launch?
Launch is treated as the start of operations, not the finish line. Ongoing care—hosting, updates, monitoring, and changes—is available after every project. NeuroLabs runs six of its own products in production, which is where the maintenance practice comes from.
What products does NeuroLabs make?
Six live products: ScamCallCheck (scam call and text lookup, built on 280,000+ US FTC and FCC complaint records), TheCareer (free resume and interview tools), CalcNow (30+ free calculators), LenderReady (financing readiness for Canadian small businesses), Down East Music (PEI live-music photography), and VINscan (bilingual VIN decoder and recall checker using Transport Canada and US NHTSA data). SubTrack and Boreal are in development.
